6 months agoI took my car for an oil leak(rear-main seal). And to check why my car isn’t boosting. I have a golf 4 TDI estate. Firstly, they couldn’t find why the car wasn’t boosting. The reason was, the air mass sensor on the intake wasn’t plugged in properly. Secondly, they done an inspection on the car with me present. The car had one scratch as I recently resprayed the vehicle. The car left with a scratch and a huge dent which they had no idea where it came from. I had towed the car in and towed the car away due to the car not boosting and the leak. The tow guy has pictures of the vehicle picked up and dropped off both trips. Proving that car service city Modderfontein has damaged my car. Pics are to follow. I am extremely unhappy with the incident that took place. I am still unaware if my car will even be fixed by them or not as it’s been more than a week and I haven’t received a proper plan of action as to how they are going to rectify the problem.

11 months agoMy experiences with this place have not been the best, to be honest. The business area is good well built and safe because it's a closed in business area. They gave a wheelchair parking area and a wheelchair accessible entrance. After all that is said and done, the service that my family and I experienced this time was somewhat better. We took the car in for an engine overhaul, and they charged us almost the same price as Mazda, but for less work done. The car only drove for 6 months, and it needed another engine overhaul. We asked questions, but only to be told that time only the turbo needed replacement, but they charged as an egine overhaul. For 36K, we could have done it ourselves. The second time we went there, they charged 50K, and we were given a quote, but when we went for payment, they wanted 53K saying it was under new management but with the same mechanics. Three stars, I am being too generous it deserves two or one. The next time any oneneeds to do something or have their vehicle checked, rather start with your car manufacturers before others because your manufacturers have guarantees and warranties.
