4 months agoWhen i first arrived at the location i had to drive around the block thinking they've moved because the exterior looked dodgy and unkempt (Please clean your premises), Besides that the service was excellent and efficient. Thanks to the Kumoyo and Chelsea, I really hope they are getting paid really well for going above their scope of work!.

a year agoI took my car for an oil leak(rear-main seal). And to check why my car isn’t boosting. I have a golf 4 TDI estate. Firstly, they couldn’t find why the car wasn’t boosting. The reason was, the air mass sensor on the intake wasn’t plugged in properly. Secondly, they done an inspection on the car with me present. The car had one scratch as I recently resprayed the vehicle. The car left with a scratch and a huge dent which they had no idea where it came from. I had towed the car in and towed the car away due to the car not boosting and the leak. The tow guy has pictures of the vehicle picked up and dropped off both trips. Proving that car service city Modderfontein has damaged my car. Pics are to follow. I am extremely unhappy with the incident that took place. I am still unaware if my car will even be fixed by them or not as it’s been more than a week and I haven’t received a proper plan of action as to how they are going to rectify the problem.

6 months agoI recently took my car for a service at Car Service City Modderfontein, and I have to say, Chelsea, Kumoyo, and Mohammed were absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, they were professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. What really stood out for me was their honesty. They called me to explain a few extra issues that needed attention, but the way they explained everything was clear and straightforward – no pushy sales tactics, no trying to “squeeze money” out of me like I’ve experienced at other places. I genuinely felt they had my best interests at heart. It’s rare to find a service centre where you walk away feeling confident and trusting the people working on your car. I’ll definitely be recommending Chelsea, Kumoyo, and Mohammed to anyone who needs honest, reliable, and professional car service.

6 months agoI took my car to Car Service City Modderfontein to find out why it was consuming so much oil. They diagnosed an oil leak from the sump and assured me that repairing it would fix the problem. I authorised the repair. Three weeks later, the same oil consumption problem returned. They then advised me to take the car to Audi, where I was told the leak was from the same area they had “repaired” and that silicone had been used instead of the OEM rubber gasket my model requires. When I confronted them with Audi’s findings, the manager first insisted silicone was the same as a gasket, then admitted otherwise and agreed to fit the correct OEM parts for free if I supplied them. After I purchased the parts and booked the repair, they cancelled on the day and demanded R2,200 to proceed. This has cost me money (Uber trips), time off work, and left my car still leaking oil. In my view, Car Service City Modderfontein: Carried out a faulty repair using the wrong materials. Gave an incorrect diagnosis. Broke their agreement to fix the problem at no charge.
